UCPH Quantum Hub
UCPH Quantum Hub is designed to embrace the interdisciplinary nature of the challenges we face, and harvest the synergies, fill the gaps, and create an environment that is greater than the sum of its parts. In particular, the UCPH Quantum Hub will provide a framework for cross-departmental and cross-faculty collaboration as well as a window for students to see the full range of quantum research and education across the university.
UCPH Quantum Hub is a initiative with participation of scientists from Niels Bohr Institute, Department of Computer Science, Department of Mathematical Sciences, Department of Chemistry and Department of Biology.
Quantum research at The University of Copenhagen
Research in quantum information science has the potential to revolutionize all aspects of communication and computation on which our information-based society is built.
The University of Copenhagen, looking back at the historic tradition in quantum physics initiated by Niels Bohr, has established a strong position with several world-leading research groups in both quantum software and quantum hardware research, with strong ties to university environments in chemistry, nanoscience, biology, and life sciences.
