Title: Quantum Computing Approach for NMR Properties
Abstract: Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is an important spectroscopic technique in many areas of natural science. Classically, quantum chemical determinations of NMR properties are well‐established, but the architecture of quantum devices necessitates the development of novel methods. In this work, we develop a method for calculating NMR properties, employing a quantum linear response (qLR) approach within an active‐space frame‐work and the unitary coupled cluster (UCC) ansatz, as well as its orbital‐optimized (oo‐UCC) and factorized (fUCC, oo‐fUCC) variations.

Title: Observation of Flux-Charge Interaction in a Gate-Tunable Fluxonium
Abstract: Hybrid superconducting circuits, which incorporate semiconducting components into a circuit quantum electrodynamics (cQED) framework, enhance the scope of potential qubit applications. We present a direct coupling between the charge of the gate and the flux across the junction of the qubit. We study this novel coupling scheme in a gate tunable fluxonium where the black sheep junction is an S‐Sm‐S Al/InAs nanowire junction, and the inductor is an SIS junction array. We present the experiment to isolate the flux‐charge coupling and charge‐charge coupling as well as coherent control due to this novel interaction.
